Complete residential and commercial roof repairs, replacements and inspections. Skylight installations as well.

When and why did you start the biz?
Michael and Eric started Patriot Roofing & Construction LLC to escape the corporate roofing World and because they saw the negative effects that unresponsive or sloppy roofing contractors have had on their industry

Where's your office?
We have one materials shop that hold and stores the trucks and supplies, and another office in a brand new office building in Draper, Utah.

What's the toughest part of running your biz?
Keeping up with all the work we have. We started using this SEO agency about 12 months ago and our website and calls have gone through the roof. It's a good problem to have, but it is still a problem trying to make time to hire quality people.

What's the most fun part?
Helping people. Plain and simple. It feels great being able to leave a jobsite in better condition than we found it!

Anything you would have done differently?
We should have started marketing sooner. We waited a long and even though it all worked out in the end we left a ton of business on the table.

What's next on the horizon for your biz?
Continued growth and expansion into every town in city throughout the great state of Utah! Our site is continuing to grow and expand, so is our staff!

What advice do you have for others?
Put off actually taking any money for yourself until people know who you are. Delay salaries until your marketing is solid!

How do you use Idea Cafe to help your biz?
I look forward to being able to interact with and learn from others on the platform. If there are any other roofing contractors here I will make sure to read their profiles and see what lessons I can pull out of them, just like I hope people will read this submission and take something from it as well.
